Our Paths Have Crossed
From the “What Can You See” Collection
I poured absolute hours of dedication and love into this piece, building it stitch by stitch.
“Our Paths Have Crossed” is a massive 100cm x 100cm fine-art textile landscape that explores the complex, beautiful ways our lives, choices, and stories intersect. I was incredibly honored to have this specific piece showcased on exhibition at the prestigious Watergate Theatre in Kilkenny.
If you look closely, you will see a vibrant, dense web of layered threads. Every single strand has been hand-selected and repurposed, stitched onto a structured cotton calico backing. I love working this way because the textiles carry the beautiful, unseen histories of their past lives directly into this new, joyful form.
Honoring a strict sustainable ethos, the canvas frames I select are entirely repurposed. I seek out pre-loved, high-quality vintage structures, giving them a second life while mindfully supporting local community initiatives and their beautiful causes.
This is a true statement piece that shifts entirely depending on where you stand. From afar, it is a high energy explosion of electric pinks, deep blues, and structural lines. When you step close, it rewards you with thousands of tiny, intricate details and hidden textures.
It is completely unique, full of beautiful energy, and ready to bring life to your space.
