Description
Circle of Warmth is a hand-braided throw made using Irish wool from Galway sheep, created by Christina Drennan of Irish Handmade. Designed in a circular pattern, this piece works beautifully as a decorative addition to a chair, bench, or quiet space.
Made with repurposed woven wool fabrics, its structure brings texture and warmth, while the earthy colours reflect the natural tones of the Irish landscape.
Why Irish Wool?
Irish wool is naturally breathable, temperature-regulating, and durable, making it a sustainable, long-lasting choice. Galway wool in particular is known for its softness and traditional heritage. Using local wool supports native sheep breeds and helps keep regional craft practices alive.
This throw is a blend of art and function. While it’s not a traditional full blanket, its sculptural style brings comfort and personality to any space.
Each piece is crafted slowly by hand in Kilkenny, using a zero-waste process.
